Just a quick note that Monkwick Junior School has been involved with a litter pick, led by teachers and our local Community Street Warden.

Its great that the young are again setting an example to the few who drop litter,

Secondly the Gardening Club of Monkwick Junior school met myself and "Schools in Bloom" co-ordinator Mr Mike Connell.  We donated some plants, grown by an enthusiast to put our area in a better light.

Look out for the marigolds, stock, and other colourful plants we have planted with the children and the teaching assistants who enthuse our young people
