MAIN HEADLINES....

As a Local Labour Borough Councillor for Berechurch Ward, I am totally committed to my area.

I live in the centre of the Ward at 12 Prince Philip Road Colchester C02 8PA 01206 545889.

You can contact me by E mail      [email protected]

The area of Berechurch is a pleasant place to live, and has a strong community within it.

Berechurch is bordered by major roads of Mersea Road, Berechurch Hall Road, and Berechurch Road, also taking in Blackheath area.

It includes the following estates : - Queen Mary / King George Area, Gurdon Road estate, The Willows, Monkwick, Finchingfield, Solus Estate, Marlboro Place estate, Birch Glen, Lethe Grove, Friday Wood Green, and the Ash Grove / Chestnut Ave areas.

It is a great area to live and work in.

                      Whats happening around the area...

ROAD REPAIRS -- THERE ARE POT HOLES EVERYWHERE

I continue to push for Road repairs, from the County Council. The streets we live in have got worse as far as quality goes. The management of our road repairs is a disgrace.              I regularly send in reports of pot holes and poor road surface, if you spot a Pot Hole, e mail me on [email protected]  or ring 01206 545889....

People power works against the lack of investment in our area.

  LITTER PICKS - STREET CLEANLINESS

The Labour team, (including Cllr Kim Naish and myself) strive to make sure the Berechurch area is maintained and improved where appropriate. We lead "all year round" Litter picks involving volunteers from the community. Watch "Upcoming Events"  within Calendar on this web site for dates.

A free "booked collection of bulky waste" has now been brought in after I won a campaign for this ---    despite Tory and Lib Dem opposition. This good Council policy will stop fly tipping and keep our area tidy.

DAVE HARRIS - WORKING FOR YOU - ALL YEAR ROUND
