Poppy day this year was a very different affair, with social distancing, lockdown, and vulnerable people at risk

As in previous years, here in my Berechurch community we raised money for poppy appeal (British Legion led) by getting sponsors for a Large Poppy up a lamp post near the “sponsors” home.

I am please to say so many people were keen to take part and show strong support for the poppy charity that helps so many service men and women (Retired or still on service)

We raised £956.00 that went to Royal British legion (See pic of hand over of the donations)
