Using County County sponsorship from my Councillor locality budget I am backing a “get Monkwick moving” project

It involves:

A map being delivered to all Berechurch/Monkwick to show cycle routes

Free doctor bike events to repair cycles and coach cyclists on bike maintenance

A bike ride to use the cycle routes to Colchester Town centre,  with safety training on the way

Learn to ride events (adults and children)

Walkers meet up to walk footpaths to town

Routes from from South Colchester from Friday wood Green/Berechurch hall road   through Monkwick,  past cemetery,  and Gurdon Road estate,  onto past Berechurch Road, circular Road east,  flagstaff Road and into town on St John’s Street

All this is to promote walking,  cycling , good health and in a safe way
